Next Uncharted 4, then LoU 2
This would seem to be the order of things according to Naugthy Dog, next year's title, I presume the top title of PS4 with Metal Gear Solid, will be Uncharted 4. Whilst players are anxiously waiting the so-long-ago promised transition to the silver screen, it is more likely that Uncharted series will get its Ps4 debut before any movie. Sorry. Besides ND has still a lot to offer to Last of Us on Ps3 in form of Single player and multiplayer DLCs.Naughty Dog could have an ace down in the sleeve
Don't know but I would like to believe there's going to be some new things still added to the current multiplayer experience. I could go for new game modes, such as Capture the flag or Domination type or perhaps a multitask playlist introducing CPU infected in survival type match, against enemy team plus creepers lured in the map by loud gunfire. As for cosmetics, I could use few new weapons as well, just to make things more interesting.Promise of Last of US 2, sequel, prequel?
The LoU universe has lot to offer for dramatic, action packed storytelling. ND has shown it can develop top notch stories on their own, but I could introduce some scenarios that I might be interesting, added with the tech of next-gen platform's capability to generate masses of characters. If GTAV was amazing, with old generation capacity, we can easily see hordes of infected chasing hoardes civilians like we saw in the intro of Last of Us. Therefore it would be nice to see the whole story arch from the first infected through martial law to the breakdown of society.
Improved multiplayer with dynamic environment, character customization
More everything: bigger matches, prone stance, dynamic environment, more weapons, more variation. You can imagine bigger maps with more players in a dynamic, destructible, malleable environment. I'm imagining a dynamic physical confrontation, sprinting in full speed to body check an enemy from behind into a sharp wooden fence. Injured player dripping with blood leave a trail of blood while limping to cover. Dark maps where you have to resort to use your flashlight in order to see anything.
